There is No Time! How many times a day do we say, "I wish I had more time!" Our daily tasks tend to bog us down when we struggle with too many tasks and too little time. Effectively making use of your time means effectively managing your activities. Many people, when asked, "What are your priorities?" tend to look like a deer in headlights. If you do not define your priorities, it makes it challenging to make decisions on what task to do first and with no priorities, everything becomes a priority! We all know of many things we can do to manage our time better; use a day planner, make a "to do" list, prioritize your list, delegate tasks, etc. The question becomes, if we know what to do to manage our time better, then why don't we do it?

Take Back Your Power
Having good communication skills, flexibility, good judgment, courtesy for others and a sense of professionalism has never been more important. Our self-esteem is a critical ingredient that helps us define our path and how we respond to the situations in our lives. We most often treat others as we tend to treat ourselves. When we don’t respect ourselves or value what we have to offer we tend to let others do the same. Once we understand our strengths regarding our own communication styles, we then naturally understand how we can best understand and communicate with others. Only then can we take our power back and be more effective in getting things done, have a meeting run more effectively, and develop relationships that are more rewarding both in business and in our personal lives. Our strength is our power and our power is what sustains us.
The Power in Working as One: Teambuilding for the Future
Many organizations, systems and families are finding that many of the challenges they are facing cannot be met alone. A new kind of "team" is needed for the challenges we are facing. In everything we do we are always striving for one thing: to be part of a whole, a team, to belong.
In order for a team to function, we must see the people behind the individuals on our team, respect each other's differences as strengths, constantly check that the team is working from the same intention (goal), know the difference between bringing individual "sole" or our "soul" to the team and learning to work from a new grid of creativity to create the results for which we are looking.
"It is only when you are able to see and recognize the person behind the colleague that teamwork becomes a possibility."

Understanding Tragedy: Finding Calm in Chaos
In light of the recent tragedy in Haiti, many of us are finding ourselves in a place of despair and helplessness - not knowing what we can do to help. Besides the traditional ways of helping, such as giving money, there are many things that can be done from a place of higher consciousness to help our brothers and sisters around the globe. A place where intentions, thoughts and prayers affect change.
Find out how you can find calm in the center of chaos by focusing on what your unique gifts and talents are so you can step into the light when you are called in times of tragedy.
Balance. Got Some?
Many individuals in the workforce today struggle with the concept of balance. How much time should I be spending at home vs. work? How can I possibly find enough time in the day to commit the time I need for both? What needs to be realized is that YOU define what balance is for you. Defining your priorities, recognizing where you are right now, taking action towards your top goals personally and professionally, and most importantly, understanding that balance comes from the inside-out. Who you are and who you choose to be plays a big role in maintaining balance.
Understanding and Overcoming Stress
It is challenging to go through our lives in today's world without experiencing some type of stress. We all perceive stress differently depending on our experiences, up-bringing and attitudes. The first step is figuring out your own definition of stress and what situations and people you consider stressful. Being able to identify what you perceive as stressors in your life not only helps you understand your stress better but it also gives you some clues into how to overcome your stress. Stress reduction begins with your thoughts and what you allow to linger in your mind regarding the event or person. When we allow those thoughts to linger too long we start to see the stress manifesting into issues with our physical and mental health. Thoughts and perceptions can be changed and re-framed so the next time you deal with a so-called stressful situation you can walk away healthy, content and above all stress-free.
Understanding Yourself and Others
Have you ever thought, "If only everyone was like me then the world would be such a great place!" Well, maybe not, but if you have you are definitely living in a dream world. We live on a globe that is made up of all different types of personalities, attitudes and communication styles. We now have several different forms of communication that are all instant and demand a quick response. Having good communication skills, flexibility, good judgment, courtesy for others and a sense of professionalism has never been more important. These are skills that tend to become lost in our world of emails, texting and instant messaging. The key to understanding how others would like to be treated lies in our understanding of our own personalities and tendencies. We most often treat others as we tend to treat ourselves. Once we understand our strengths regarding own communication styles, we then naturally understand how we can best understand and communicate with others.
