Empower Yourself to Work Better and Live Better

Power is the ability to recognize what your talents are and to use them to effect change. Empowerment is motivating yourself to make that change. Many things act as obstacles to change such as F.E.A.R., limiting beliefs, lack of balance and inability to define what you want for your life. When we realize change happens from the inside out and that what we need to effect change is not “out there” but already inside of us, we become the person we need to be to see miraculous things happen. You are then empowered to live the life YOU chose!

The Power in Working as One: Team Building for the HR Professional

In today’s times HR professionals and organizations as a whole are facing many challenges. Our new economy has acted as a spotlight, shining the light on areas in our organizations that need the most attention. It is becoming more and more difficult to retain and recruit employees, make necessary changes, take necessary risks and find new and creative resources to get the job done. Many organizations are finding that the challenges they are facing cannot be met with the same mind-set, processes and people as before. Our new and emerging society needs a new kind of leader, needs to take bolder risks, develop new tactics and find different ways of not only connecting with people but empowering them. A new kind of "team" is needed for the challenges we are facing. As an HR professional, our role is to help transform the organization by empowering the people within it.

In order for a team to function, we must see the people behind the individuals on our team, respect each other's differences, work within our strengths, constantly check that the team is working from the same intention (goal), know the difference between bringing individual "sole" or our "soul" to the team and learning to work from a new grid of creativity to create the results for which we are looking. It is time to empower our employees for their future, not our past.

"It is only when you are able to see and recognize the person behind the colleague that teamwork becomes a possibility."

Healing From the Inside Out

Do you believe the body has the ability to heal itself? If so, what are the ingredients that allow the physical body to have the environment it needs to heal? Self-esteem, the power of the present moment and the power of what we hold in our minds all make up the miracle of self-healing. Raise your self-esteem, live in the now, understand how to protect your energy and learn how to control your thoughts and feelings so you can heal as your body was meant to.

The Leader Within: Learning to Lead Yourself So You Can Effectively Lead Others

Leaders.are they born or made? Regardless of the answer, being a good leader begins with the self; high self-esteem, confidence, good communication skills and a trust in the self that stands up to even the strongest criticism. Understanding who you are and knowing where you want to go are the first steps to becoming a good leader; inside and out.

The Empowerment of High Self-Esteem: Unlocking the Grid That Binds You

Our world is facing many crises but there is one crisis that is far more crucial than most and that is the low self-esteem crisis affecting millions in our world today. Our self-esteem is the lens through which we live; it defines how we act, how we are in relationships, how we work, how we love and even how we heal. Taking care of your self inside and out and being able to listen to your body and inner self when it talks to you make you strong so you are able to respond to the messages you are being sent. In the end, this means living the life you are meant to live at your maximum potential.

Making the Dance Your Own

Many people, especially women, live their lives in the shadow of others expectations. How we dress, where we work, what we say and don't say all seem to be shaped by the perceptions we hold in our minds of what other people expect from us. As women, we need to take back our power and learn to honor our own voice. Stepping out is not easy.but it is necessary for the survival of your soul. Balance, self-integrity and honor are at the core of being who you were meant to be in this lifetime. Step into it and live!

Call Back Your Power

As women, we are much stronger than we realize. Our strength is our power, and our power is what sustains us. When we go through hard times in our lives, we tend to give our power away either to a situation, a person, an idea or even a thing. Learning when we have lost our power, why we lost it and how to call it back are critical in maintaining our strength as well as our self-esteem. Our self-esteem is a critical ingredient that helps us define our path and how we respond to the situations in our lives. Finding ourselves and calling back our power is our gift to our spirit.

S.O.S. (Self-Esteem of Our Students): The Self-Esteem Crisis Affecting our Youth

Our students today are faced with challenges we could not have imagined in our youth at a speed that would make the Road Runner blink. Being able to effectively handle life takes a good self-image, a high self-esteem and a knowledge of self-worth; all things that are not taught in school but needed desperately in our world today to survive. What can we do to increase the value our students hold for themselves today to ensure they have a successful future?
